Adapting to a plant-based lifestyle includes using only all-natural products and eliminating the chemical filled ones. Think about all the products that you use on your body. Soaps, deodorants, shampoo and conditioners, lotion and body sprays. All of these products that we buy out of stores are filled with harsh chemicals, dyes and other additives. We spread these all over our bodies on a daily basis without a second thought of how they effect our bodies. We do not think that these products which seem to be created to do us good, are actually doing us more harm.
When we begin to shift and change our lives, we start to give more attention to the harmful things that we are doing to our physical bodies. As we go deeper into a spiritual practice, we begin to see that changes must be made to our physical essence as well. This is when we look to change the way that we eat. The things that we use. And how it all plays a part in our lives.
Living an active plant-based lifestyle leaves you feeling good. You are eating the best foods that were specially provided by Source to sustain you in the physical form. You begin to only intake the best for your body and in return your body stays in a healthy, balanced state of being. You will begin to notice that illness and sickness fade away. Even long term diseases that you may have experience begin disappear and healthy living can set in.

If you are seeking herbs for healing any bodily ailment, there are literally thousands of named and un-named plant medicines that Mother Earth provides us with.
Some common ones to look for and begin to incorporate in your daily lifestyle are dandelion, yarrow, burdock, sarsaparilla, red clover, chamomile, and mint.
The most common way to ingest herbs is in a herbal tea blend. Simply pour hot water over your chosen herbs and allow to steep for 5-15 mins. Also you can place herbs in a glass jar and sit out into the sun for a few hours.
Remember that many herbs are sold in the refrigerator section of your grocery store! Particularly basil, rosemary, dill, chives and sage.
